1: Know Your Skin Tone 

Skin tone is your skin color which you can see, when you look at yourself in the mirror. they are split into three main categories FAIR, LIGHT, MEDIUM and DARK. so, identify your skin tone. 

Fair: The lightest range of skin tone.

Light: Generally light-colored skin, nut it has more beige/yellow tones.

Medium: Skin is medium color, with olive tones.

Dark: Deep complexion.

2: Know Your Skin Undertone

Skin undertone refers to the color that comes through the skin from underneath it's surface. they are three types COOL, WARM and NEUTRAL. knowing your undertone can really help you to find the right foundation that will enhance your complexion and give it a healthy, refreshed glow.

To Identify Your Skin Undertone, Here Are A Five Tests You Can Try :
  • Test 1: Wrist Test

Closely check the color of your veins on the outside of your wrist,

Cool: If your veins look purple or blue,then you have a cool undertone.

Warm: If you have greenish or olive veins, you have a warm undertone.

Neutral: If you cannot determine which color in dominant in your veins, then you have a neutral undertone.

  • Test 2: Jewelry Test

Take silver and gold jewellery and place it next to your skin,

Cool: If silver jewellery looks flattering on your skin, you have a cool undertone.

Warm: If gold jewellery looks good on your skin, you have a warm undertone.

Neutral: If you looks flattering or good in both gold and silver, you have neutral undertone.

  • Test 3: White Paper Test

Hold a blank white paper next to your face under the skin,

Cool: If your skin appears pinkish/red, then you're probably cool undertone.

Warm: If your skin appears more yellow/golden, then you're probably warm.

Neutral: If your skin confusing to determine and appears yellow/pink, then you're probably neutral undertone.

  • Test 4: Color Test

Take your favorite clothes from your wardrobe and hold your clothes next to your skin and see in a mirror to see how the colors make your look,

Cool: If blue, black, white, purple, lavender, pink, ice blue suit you then you have cool undertone.

Warm: If peach, yellow, brown, olive, green, mustard, suit you then you have warm undertone.  

Neutral: If you think you look good in every and any shade you wear, well then, lucky you! you have a neutral undertone. 

  • Test 5: Sun Test

Cool: If your skin turns red when you are out in the sun, you have cool undertone.

Warm: If your skin get tanned easily in the sun, you have warm undertone. 

Neutral: If your skin have burning sensation and get darker then, you have neutral undertone.

3: Finalized Your shade
