1: Not Using Sunscreen

Sunscreen is one of the most essential part of skincare, it needs to be applied to all the areas that are exposed to the sun. while you probably know about how exposure to the sun rays can lead to early signs of ageing, fine lines, wrinkles and dark spots. i know a lot of sunscreens leave white cast on the face, so its easy to skip this crucial step in a proper skincare routine but, never leave the house without applying SPF 30 above and also wear sunscreen indoors to protect yourself from the harmful rays.

2: Not Exfoliating (or) Over Exfoliating

Exfoliating your skin helps get rid of deal skin cells, removes excess sebum and open clogged pores which helps reduce blackheads and acne. exfoliating your skin will also help it absorb skincare products in a better manner but, also over exfoliating can cause your skin to become dehydrated and dry, if you notice that you are developing dry patches or flakes, you may be overdoing it. this is why its best to exfoliate your skin once or 2 times a week with hydrating and moisturizing products.

3: Using Soap To Your Face

Washing the face with a soap is probably doing more harm then good. when you use soap, it instantly dehydrates the skin, leaving with that tight and dry surface. so, if you use soap to your skin, it messes with its pH balance and acid mantle causing it to make skin conditions worse. hence, it is best to avoid using soap on your face and invest in a good quality face wash.

4: Not Removing Makeup Before Sleep

The skin undertakes the process of renewing and repairing itself at night, when you leave makeup on your skin it interferes with the skin's natural processes, clog pores and can lead to acne, dull complexion and blackheads. so avoid sleeping with makeup. use makeup remover and cleanse your face and form a nighttime skincare routine to achieve healthy and glowing skin.

5: Not Using Moisturizer

Moisturizer is one of the most important skincare products you need to use, even if you have oily or acne prone skin, skipping moisturizer causes develop wrinkles soon, because moisturizer provides a layer of protection to your skin and if you are in 20s, your skin needs to stay moisturized at all times to keep it healthy in the future.

6: Using The Wrong Product For Your Skin Type

Using the wrong products without knowing your exact skin type could worsen acne, dryness, or other skin problems. so your should understand your skin type and follow a skin based regime to fight several skin problems and gives you glowing skin.

7: Rubbing Your Skin Dry Instead Of Patting It

You should always pat or dab products onto your skin instead of rubbing them in, because rubbing causes dryness, sting or burn, and you develop a mild red rash and can lead to sagging. so use a towel to blot or pat dry. patting the product lead to less wastage and helps push it deeper onto your skin, especially if you have sensitive skin take care to pat your face dry rather then rub.
